Program Summary
The Youth Lens 360 Legacy Cohort is designed to help guide participants into a personal and professional growth mindset and build a legacy plan that ensures immediate and long-term success. E3L provides a critical support platform by providing peer support, a place where vulnerability can be expressed and shared, and a forum for exchanging advice on personal and professional challenges.
Program Objectvices
Vocational Training
How will it be achieved
Participants will receive two days of vocational training where they will receive hands-on training.
How will it be measured?
Training on video equipment and acumen consistent with requirements of Youth Lens 360 employment requirements and completion of a portfolio project.
Personal Development
How will it be achieved
Participants will establish an understanding of their personal capacity and identify key characteristics that hinder personal development.
How will it be measured?
Participants will log a minimum of 15 legacy journal entries with self reflection and actions to overcome obstacles.
Professional Development
How will it be achieved
Participants will create a Linkedin account and actively engage in the account while building an online portfolio.
How will it be measured?
Participants will develop their personal brand and create their professional portfolio, starting with a Linkedln account.
Social
How will it be achieved
Participants will connect and begin to network with professionals in their desired field.
How will it be measured?
Each participant should connect with a minimum of 25 professionals on Linkedln and land one independent contract.
Psychological
How will it be achieved
Participants will participate in 1 transformative group session per month with certified professionals teaching personal development/healthy living
How will it be measured?
Feedback on the monthly session is positive towards the session and participants are engaged.
